Doug Sparks

I was born in Detroit and raised in the suburbs in the surrounding area. My dad had two jobs, a milkman in the early mornings (which I always enjoyed tagging along when he let me), and then he would work the afternoon shift at General Motors. I believe this is where I get my work ethic from. Although I didn’t see him much growing up he taught me through his actions to be the best provider that my family would need. We have 3 kids (all of them beyond their teens) and 2 cute little granddaughters. Soon I’ll slow down, and spend even more time on my ’08 Road King Classic, with my wonder wife Diane right behind me (now and then in front) on her ’07 Heritage Softail Classic. Okay it’s a hand me down, but she likes it!

We moved to Florida in the spring of ’06 after the economy and the job market in Michigan seemed to be heading in the wrong direction. So here we are, and so far we are having a blast. We have made a lot of friends and acquaintances ever since we joined the local New Port Richey HOG chapter, there always seems to be something going on with new roads to travel, places to eat. What could be better?

LIVE IT UP!
