I’ve lived in Florida for 29 years now.
(Longer than my hometown of Seaford, N.Y.) I’ve been happily(?) married to
Mike, my junior high boyfriend, for 17 years (yes, I am happily married!!) and
I’m ‘grandmamma’ to 3 wonderful grandkids. I’ ve been in the manufacturing
business for 26 years as the owner and president of Mica Specialties, Inc., a
custom cabinet and countertop company.
My real first encounter with motorcycling
was with Mike 18 years ago. He was living in Los Angles, CA. and I went out
for a visit. I loved riding with him and found the chapter members not what I
expected. They were celebrities, doctors, lawyers, etc.!! I did have my own
Harley back in ‘93 - wasn’t comfortable riding on my own and sold it. BUT
I’m getting that itch again and see a bike for me in the near future!
