Road Captain John Connors

I'm from Long Island, New York. Moved to Florida full-time in 1991. I'm married to Patricia since  1968. We have three boys (John, Joseph and Jason) and four grandchildren, three boys and one precious little girl.

I started riding bikes when I was 16, lived in Pompano Beach, FL at the time. I rode a Sears Alstate 250. Did 93 mph on a good day going downhill once. Things you do when you're young.

Now I ride an '07 Ultra Classic Military Edition. Life's too short not to ride a Harley. I'm a charter member of the New Port Richey HOG Chapter. Being a HOG member lets me meet people from all over the world. I spent 12 years in the Long Island Fire Department, then went to school and became a Certified Paperhanger. In 1991 I started a Real Estate Investment Company and a Real Estate Management Company. They're small, but hey, they pay the bills and give me time to ride.

I am a proud Viet Nam Veteran, having served with the 11th Armored Calvary 67- 68 and the 6th Armored Calvary 68 - 69 -C- Troop.  I was a Turret Mechanic, made sure the Turret of tanks went round and round. I know, tough job, but someone has to do it.

Besides riding I like football, baseball and a good joke or two.
